small baking cups

I found this recipe on Julia Child’s blog, the French Chef. While the above recipe is delicious, I wanted to share a few tips for preparing the same ingredients in a smaller amount. (The recipe comes from the original French recipe, not the English version.

The recipe calls for two cups of flour, two cups of sugar, one cup of butter, one egg, and a teaspoon of vanilla. The recipe states, “One can prepare this in two hours.” This can be a bit misleading. The recipe lists the amount of ingredients needed for the entire recipe in single-serving cups, and the amount of ingredients actually needed for the whole recipe in single-serving cups.

The recipe is actually very easy to do in a small space. By simply making a few changes, if you have a small space, you can easily make a loaf of bread and the recipe can be done in a few hours.
