But after a couple years of being in the kitchen, I realize that I am much much better at cooking when I know how to do a few basic things.
Cooking isn’t necessarily an art, you don’t need to be a master chef to cook delicious food. But it helps to know what you’re up against. The main thing to know about cooking is that you have to plan ahead as to what you are going to cook and when. And you have to make sure that your ingredients are all the same. When I cook, I am creating a person in my head. I am creating a person that I am happy to be around. I can be a person of the highest order when I cook.
